EASTVALE: Man critical after street racing crash
A 19-year-old man crashed into a tree during an illegal street race late Sunday night, police said.
A 19-year-old man was in critical condition after crashing into a tree during an illegal street race late Sunday night in Eastvale, police said.
Eder Sid-Robles, of Rialto, was airlifted to the Arrowhead Medical Center following the 11:30 p.m. crash near Mission Boulevard and Corridor Drive. Eastvale police said Sid-Robles was by himself in a Honda Civic, driving side-by-side with another car when he lost control and drove into a tree.
Police are still looking for the driver of the other vehicle, which left the scene of the crash. Witnesses said it was a primer-gray, two-door car, possibly another Honda.
